About SAIL Exercise Classes
Our Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) exercise classes meet every Tuesday and Friday morning, year-round, at 10:30am in Room 112 at the CAST Senior Center. Classes are free, and no registration is required. All are welcome!
All exercises and aerobics can be done sitting or standing and are very adaptive. Classes consist of a warm-up, aerobics, balance, strength, stretching, and an educational component. Performing exercises that improve strength, balance and fitness are the single most important activity that adults can do to stay active and reduce their chance of falling.
Our instructors are Cindy Schultz, Judy Seidl and Marlene Ingebritson.
The SAIL exercise program is provided by Catholic Charities of Southern Minnesota and coordinated by Mary Cassem, Active Aging Program Administrator for Blue Earth, Brown, Nicollet, and Watonwan Counties.
