Senior Dining Information

Join us every weekday for In-Person Senior Dining in the Cafetorium at the CAST Senior Center. Call 507-359-2243 by 1pm the day prior (Friday for Monday) to reserve your meal. Serving begins at 11:50am.

Birthday Dinners are held monthly, and special occasion dinners (Thanksgiving and Christmas, for example) are held on various dates throughout the year. Check the Menu Calendar for birthday and special occasion dinners.

You do not have to pay for your meal the day you dine. A monthly suggested contribution statement will be sent to your home from LSS. Suggested donation for a meal is $5-$8.75; the actual cost is $8.75.

Your meal can be delivered through Meals on Wheels between 11am and 12pm, or curbside pickup is available at the Community Center between 11 and 11:15am.

To change or cancel your Meals on Wheels reservations, call the Senior Dining office at 507-359-2243. If you get voicemail, please leave a message.

SNAP and EBT payments are accepted. If you’re interested in learning about the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), call 800-488-4146.

LSS Meals offers delicious meal options that are available in many ways statewide.

Our meals are designed by a licensed, registered dietitian to ensure that they are healthy and nutritious. Adjusted meals are available for individuals with special dietary needs, such as those who are diabetic or require a controlled sodium, low fat or low cholesterol diet.

Our services support older adults to live healthier, more active and independent lives, and make eating fun and easy. We also serve individuals experiencing food insecurities or who need assistance with nutrition or dietary needs.

We offer LSS Bistro community dining sites and LSS Meals on Wheels in 163 communities in 39 Minnesota counties. Services vary by location. Our LSS Meals to Go shipment service is available statewide.
